Modern Group
Standard Features

The Model 95XP is a 9 inch capacity disc-chipper designed to chip fibrous material like palm fronds and vines. The disc on the Model 95XP sits at a 90-degree angle, compared to the typical 45-degree angle that most of our disc chippers feature, so it can effectively cut against viney and stringy material that is harder to process with a normal disc chipper. This unit is especially popular in coastal areas where foliage, stringy materials, and vines are prevalent. The opening is similar to the Model 90XP with dimensions of 9 inches high by 17 inches wide. Engine options ranging from 48.1 to 84.5 horsepower can be selected.

Standard Features

The key to the Model 95XP is a right-angle feed system with a powerful single feed wheel. There is very little distance between the feed wheel and the chipper knife, preventing stringy materials like vines and palm fronds from wrapping around the feed wheel and avoiding the cutting disc. The feed wheel is 10-5/8 inches in diameter by 16-3/8 inches wide and driven by a large 32.7 CID hydraulic motor that provides plenty of pulling power for compressing limby, hard-to-manage material. A dual-feed wheel setup is offered as an upgrade that consists of (2) 7-1/2 inch diameter by 16-3/8 inch wide feed wheels. The system feeds material at 90 feet per minute, which can easily keep two people busy feeding it.
The approximate weight of this unit, depending upon selected options, can fall within a range of 4,400 pounds to 5,000 pounds. This includes the durable 34 inch diameter by 1 inch thick chipper disc and solid chassis construction using continuous steel welds as opposed to bolt-together techniques. Component weight is distributed and supported on a sturdy, balanced frame that provides the necessary physical reinforcement for chipping while allowing the machine to be towed easily. The Model 95XP has a 7 gallon hydraulic tank and a 24-1/2 gallon fuel tank to run all day. The discharge can manually rotate 360 degrees and has an adjustable deflector for directional control of the broadcasted chips. Optional upgrades including a reversing feed system, swivel and height adjustable discharge options, and a robust dual-wheel feed system are available. A full palette of standard and custom paint colors gives you the freedom to choose the look of your brand or company.
The Model 95XP, as with all Bandit chippers, is designed and equipped with operator safety in mind. Standard items that accommodate any chipper package include guards that cover all moving parts, engine disabling plugs, disc / drum locks, wooden push paddles, safety control bar, and other Bandit patented and patent pending devices such as the "last chance" cables. Also, all components on Bandit chippers are designed to be easily accessible to save time on routine maintenance schedules and to reduce downtime by being more serviceable out in the field. Thus, Bandit chippers have proven over time to be the best economical decision you can make for a long-term investment in a brush chipper.
