The Model 95XP is a secondary nine inch capacity disc-chipper designed to chip fibrous material like palm fronds and vines. The disc on the Model 95XP sits at a 90° angle, compared to the normal 45° angle that most of our disc chippers feature. This set-up allows the Model 95XP to process viney and stringy material that is hard to process with a normal disc chipper. Like the model 90XP, the 95XP features a 9 x 17 in. chipper opening and has engine options ranging from 46 to 90 horsepower.
The heart of this unit is a right-angle feed system with a single powerful feed wheel. There is very little distance between the feed wheel and the chipper knife, preventing materials like vines and palm fronds from wrapping around the feed wheel.
This unit is especially popular in coastal areas where foliage, stringy materials and vines are prevalent.
